Donald Trump Just Tweeted About The New Tax Cuts, Liberals Won’t Like It

President Donald J. Trump is justifiably excited by the passage of his tax reform bill passed today by both the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives. And, as he always does, he took to Twitter to celebrate. And the liberals are furious.

Trump first tweeted a congratulatory message to GOP leadership for their big tax reform win today. He also noted that, “The United States Senate just passed the biggest in history Tax Cut and Reform Bill. Terrible Individual Mandate (ObamaCare) Repealed. Goes to the House tomorrow morning for final vote. If approved, there will be a News Conference at The White House at approximately.”

But what he tweeted next set the left’s teeth on edge.

Today he wrote, “The Tax Cuts are so large and so meaningful, and yet the Fake News is working overtime to follow the lead of their friends, the defeated Dems, and only demean. This is truly a case where the results will speak for themselves, starting very soon. Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!”

He followed that up saying, “Together, we are MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

And this…

The amazing thing is that the bill passed at all in the face of a united Democrat Party and the full-throated support of their media lapdogs. The onslaught by the Democrat/media establishment was so negative that polls show that most Americans were actually fooled into opposing the bill ahead of the vote.

The liberal media proclaimed this bill a “tax cut for the rich,” a claim that is simply a lie. In fact, the GOP bill is a tax cut for 80 percent of all American citizens.

As the Daily Caller wrote:

Pervasive media bias about the GOP-led tax bill has caused a vast majority of people to believe they are going to receive a massive tax hike if President Trump signs it into law.

Leftist media pundits and even “objective” anchors and reporters have framed the bill as a tax cut for the rich that is being paid for by the middle class, even though analysis shows that the middle class will reap the biggest income gains.

As the Wall Street Journal’s Richard Rubin tweeted on Tuesday, 80 percent of households will get cuts in 2018, but only 17 percent in a WSJ poll believe they’re getting tax cuts.

It is clear compared to a review of the actual bill compared to the “reporting” of it by the media that the left has fallen into hysteria over this bill.

Daily Caller goes on…

According to the Joint Committee on Taxation, the middle class will receive $61 billion in tax cuts in 2019, totaling 23 percent of the overall tax cuts for individuals.

Yet outlets like The Washington Post, Newsweek, Time Money, and The New York Times all described the bill as a “tax hike” on the middle class.

The gulf between the “reporting” versus reality is astonishing.
